RappCats’ Cats & Kittens Need Your Donations

Please donate to RappCats through givelocalpiedmont.org on May 5th. Also, donations can be prescheduled beginning April 21st. You will be saving cats and changing lives.

RappCats rescues, cares for, and finds loving homes for abandoned, abused, neglected, injured, and homeless cats and kittens throughout Rappahannock County. We:

  • Operate the RappCats Adoption Center, a cage-free, no-kill, state-approved shelter

  • Fund spay/neuter, vaccinations, and veterinary care

  • Help families in need with vet bill

Your donation on May 5th through Give Local Piedmont will be multiplied by the $100,000 bonus from the PATH Foundation (every non-profit receives a portion) and $22,000 in prizes from the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation and their sponsors.

Contact RappCats if you're looking for kittens, or a terrific cat just waiting for that loving forever home.

We'll help you find your purr-fect companion!

Spay and Neuter Saves Lives! Contact RappCats for Help Getting Your Cat Spayed or Neutered!

RappCats is a volunteer, 501(c)3 organization working to help the stray, abused, abandoned, and injured cats of Rappahannock County. We assist with low-cost spay/neuter, veterinary care, and finding temporary and permanent homes. We also operate the RappCats Adoption Center, a cageless, no-kill facility that is the only community cat shelter in Rappahannock County. The RappCats Adoption Center is also the only State Veterinarian-approved private animal shelter in Rappahannock County.

RappCats is not affiliated with the Rappahannock County government. We rely entirely on the generosity of people like you to support our operations. We also depend on volunteers to run the RappCats Adoption Center, to provide foster care, and to help with many other needs. Our task is difficult and costly, but also rewarding. Donations and volunteers are always welcome!

See what Animal Planet says about us!

RappCats relies on volunteers like you to staff the RappCats Adoption Center! Can you give as little as 1 - 2 hours per week to help feed and socialize our adorable cats? Your help will keep the shelter open!
